We define mechanisms as elements that transmit and/or transform forces and/or motion from a driver element to a driven element.
A machine is any object that transforms or transmits energy, making the work easier. There are five simple machines: the lever, the inclined plane, the wheel and axle, the pulley, the screw and the wedge.
We are going to study, throughout several posts, about the main mechanisms that we can find in machines.
